Kourtney Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, is reportedly seeking professional help after his rapid weight loss sparked public concern.
Insiders told DailyMail.com that the 40-year-old reality star, following a period of significant weight gain due to a back injury, turned to Ozempic, a medication for diabetes, in an attempt to slim down quickly.
However, after fans expressed worry about his “gaunt” appearance, Disick has reportedly abandoned Ozempic and enlisted the guidance of a nutritionist to achieve sustainable weight loss.
"Scott recognized that he needed to stop taking Ozempic after seeing the photos of himself and the public outcry over his weight loss," a source revealed to DailyMail.com.
Disick, often dubbed “The Lord,” reportedly “thought he looked good because he was thinner again – not realizing that this was not healthy.”
His weight struggles come amidst rising concerns about the safety of Ozempic for weight loss purposes. The medication, primarily prescribed for type 2 diabetes, has gained popularity for its rapid weight-loss effects, but carries potential side effects like bowel blockages and pancreatitis.
Disick, who has battled substance abuse in the past, is reportedly committed to achieving healthy weight management and avoiding a return to his unhealthy habits.
