Justin Bieber and Wizkid surprised fans at Coachella by accepting Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer Tem’s invitation to join her on stage for a performance of their song "Essence."
Fans who follow Tems on X were given a heads-up when she posted: “Coachella! I’m too exciteddd I have a surprise tonight.”
The artist had stayed out of the spotlight since June 2022, leading fans to believe he would not perform at Coachella this year. Justin told fans he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused full paralysis on one side of his face. However, during his performance at Coachella on Sunday, Justin Bieber appeared healthy and showed no signs of illness as he moved around the festival stage.
Justin was also seen on the festival's first day, enjoying performances by Lana Del Rey and Ice Spice with his wife, Hailey.

Tems isn't the only pop star delivering surprises at Coachella. Lana Del Rey invited Billie Eilish, No Doubt featured Olivia Rodrigo, Renee Rapp brought out Kesha, and Latin superstar J. Balvin was joined by actor Will Smith for his set.
