ASF extends apology to girl’s family

ASF expressed sincere regret to the family and emphasised that such behaviour is unacceptable

The Airport Security Force (ASF) has extended apology to the family of a minor girl after the incident of disrespectful behaviour by an official at the Jinnah Terminal. In a statement issued by ASF on Saturday, it was acknowledged that a video circulating on social media shows an official of the ASF pushing a girl who was running towards her father at the entry gate, causing her to fall to the ground. The ASF expressed sincere regret to the family and emphasised that such behaviour is unacceptable. The ASF reiterated its commitment to preventing similar incidents in the future. The statement said that disciplinary action would be taken against the officer in accordance with departmental procedures and the law.
