ENTERTAINMENT DESK:

In a harrowing tale that has gripped the online community, British YouTuber Miles "Lord Miles" Routledge revealed details of his conversation with the allegedly kidnapped streamer YourFellowArab, also known as "Arab," in Haiti.

Reports of YourFellowArab's kidnapping surfaced after he traveled to the country to document the ongoing riots, accompanied by Sean Roubens Jean Sacra, a local fixer.

Routledge, known for his adventurous and sometimes perilous travels, claims to have communicated directly with YourFellowArab using the kidnappers' phone.

According to Routledge's series of posts on ‘X’, the initial ransom demand was a staggering $600,000, which later saw reductions, ultimately dropping to a five-figure sum. Despite the dire circumstances, Routledge described YourFellowArab as being "kept in a cage" but remaining in "excellent spirits," optimistic about his release and future content creation.

Routledge also criticised the United States government and Washinton’s State Department for a lack of intervention in securing YourFellowArab's release.

A failed ransom exchange further complicated the situation, leaving YourFellowArab and Sean, who refused freedom without his companion, in captivity.

"There was an attempt to pay the ransom, but it went wrong and, truthfully, everyone was out of their depth to help Arab," Routledge explained.

YourFellowArab has even managed to find a silver lining amidst the ordeal, promising his followers a compelling video about his experience once he is free.

"Despite the hardships, he's going to come out with a great video after this," Routledge shared.
