50 Cent's former partner and mother of their child, Sire, aged 11, was implicated in Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' $30 million lawsuit against his ex-employer, Sean "Diddy" Combs.

As per court documents, model Daphne Joy was accused of involvement in a sex-trafficking ring allegedly linked to rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs. She was among three women reportedly receiving a "monthly stipend" for sex work from Combs, 54.

Joy, who dated 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) for a year from 2011 before giving birth to their son Sire in September 2012, found herself in controversy.

In response to the lawsuit, 50 Cent took to social media, responding, "I didn't know you were a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL."

Subsequent to the allegations, Joy took to Instagram, alleging prior sexual assault and abuse by 50 Cent earlier on Thursday.

A representative for 50 Cent responded to the allegations in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, “The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my twelve year old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire. The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.”

In February, Jones filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of sexual assault during their collaboration on his latest album from September 2022 to November 2023. Joy was among several prominent figures named in the lawsuit, alongside rapper Yung Miami and basketball star Brendan Paul.

Jones further alleged being coerced into soliciting sex workers and performing sexual acts in Combs' presence, claiming he was drugged and raped at a February 2023 party.

Combs and his legal team vehemently denied all allegations made by the producer, saying, “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar.”
