Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has voiced his support for Aaron Taylor-Johnson to take on the legendary role of agent 007.

Brosnan, who embodied the British secret agent in four films from the 1990s to the early 2000s, including hits like "GoldenEye" and "Die Another Day," has personal experience working with Taylor-Johnson.
The two collaborated on the 2009 film "The Greatest," produced by Brosnan's company, Irish DreamTime. Reflecting on their work together, Brosnan remarked, “And he was the greatest in it.”

Taylor-Johnson himself has remained tight-lipped about the possibility, telling Rolling Stone UK, "I can only really talk about the things I’m going to show and tell.”
He emphasised his focus on the present, adding, "I don’t feel like I need to have a future drawn out for me. I feel like: whatever’s drawn out for me, I can do better.”
The film industry and fans alike speculate on who will follow Daniel Craig's acclaimed tenure as Bond, ending with "No Time to Die" in 2021.
Brosnan's support for Taylor-Johnson contributes to the vibrant conversation regarding the next actor to take on the role of cinema's most iconic spy, with contenders including Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston, James Norton, Regé-Jean Page, and Idris Elba.
