Amanda Bynes' former Nickelodeon producer, Dan Schneider, claims she sought his support in pursuing emancipation from her parents.

'She wanted that for herself,'   Schneider explains on his YouTube channel DanWrap, adding that he and Bynes' team supported her decision though it ultimately didn't succeed.

Dan Schneider admitted to aiding Amanda Bynes when she ran away from home, claiming he acted out of concern for her safety.

He described receiving a distressed late-night call from Bynes following an argument with her father, prompting him to arrange for someone to pick her up.

Schneider states 'I knew she was safe... She ended up being taken to the police.' More details are in the clip below:

Dan Schneider, through a spokesperson, refutes allegations of misconduct.

The statement emphasises that every element of his Nickelodeon shows underwent careful review by multiple adults and received network approval.

"Quiet on Set" reveals disturbing situations involving Schneider and Bynes.  This includes a scene filmed in a hot tub and allegations that Schneider kept Bynes working late, denying her the same educational opportunities as her child costars.

Amanda Bynes has openly discussed her past struggles with drug addiction, including the misuse of Adderall.

She attributed her use partly to media reports describing it as a weight-loss aid.

Though unconfirmed by Bynes herself, online rumors allege that adults in her life, potentially including her parents and Dan Schneider, encouraged Adderall use to boost her performance.

These speculations intensified scrutiny of Schneider's role, especially following the abrupt 2002 cancellation of "The Amanda Show" and Bynes' later mental health challenges.
