Economic Development: ‘Piracy-free culture must’

IPO Chairman Hameedullah Afridi said Monday that a piracy-free culture was necessary to ensure economic development.

ISLAMABAD: Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO) Chairman Hameedullah Jan Afridi said on Monday that a piracy-free culture was necessary to ensure economic development and prosperity in the country. Talking to representatives of business and lawyer communities, he said that it was necessary to implement relevant laws and code of ethics to boost economic activities. He said that the current critical economic conditions needed immediate attention and all matters relating to the trade and commerce sectors should be resolved on a priority basis.
