PTI, JI, GDA join hands against alleged rigging in polls

Current political situation, matters related to mutual cooperation against fraudulent election discussed in meeting

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman along with a delegation met the Chief Coordinator of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Sindh Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashidi at his residence.

The current political situation and matters related to mutual cooperation against the fraudulent election were discussed in the meeting.

GDA Information Secretary Sardar Abdul Rahim said that GDA, PTI and JI have announced to fight together against the alleged rigged election. Rashidi invited the leaders for a meeting of GDA on February 23.

The participants of the meeting said that the government and the Election Commission are in a state of confusion due to the opposition's hard-line movement, and there is a possibility that the Sindh Assembly session for swearing-in will be announced suddenly.

In the meeting, the leaders agreed that in this case, the people and workers of all parties will protest strongly across Sindh on that day.

The final announcement will be made after consideration in this regard in the meeting on February 23.
