Rumour has it: Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh are expecting first baby

The rumour mill is churning again! Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reportedly expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh if the report from The Week is to be trusted. The news came after the Indian icon captivated everyone with her stunning appearance at the BAFTA in a dazzling Sabyasachi saree, with many claiming to have spotted a baby bump. 

The Fighter actor is said to be in her second trimester, marking the power couple's journey into parenthood. While Deepika has been making regular public appearances, there haven't been visible signs of her pregnancy during the second trimester. Nonetheless, as the news of her pregnancy surfaces, an official announcement from Ranveer and Deepika is still awaited.

According to reports, the award-winning actor is indeed pregnant and progressing into her second trimester. If the speculations hold true, the couple is anticipated to welcome their firstborn during the monsoon. 

In a recent interview, when questioned about having children, Deepika expressed openness to starting a family, stating, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family." Having tied the knot in 2018, Ranveer and Deepika are approaching their sixth year of marital bliss.

On the work front, Deepika has wrapped up her current shooting commitments, with Brahmastra 2 and Singham Again on her upcoming project list. Additionally, she has reportedly completed her South debut, Kalki 2898 AD, alongside Prabhas. On the other hand, Ranveer is gearing up for projects like Don 3, Shaktimaan, and Singham Again.
