Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Senator Faisal Javed on Monday alleged that concocted false cases were behind his legal troubles, as the Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted him bail.
He expressed his intention to resume standing at D-Chowk, rallying in support of PTI founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail.
Addressing journalists outside the court, Senator Javed, visibly joyful about the granted bail, acknowledged the challenging times everyone was facing and expressed hope for the return of all those oppressed.
Emerging from hiding on Monday, the PTI leader secured transit bail from the PHC. Chief Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan approved the transit bail petition, bringing Javed, who had been absent from public view for several months, back into the spotlight.
The court provided relief to Senator Faisal Javed against bail bonds amounting to Rs100,000 and mandated his appearance before the relevant court.
Speaking after his appearance at the PHC, Javed confidently asserted, "Khan saheb [Imran Khan] will contest the elections from Mianwali, and he will soon be the prime minister of Pakistan."
