HYDERABAD:

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, representing the Pakistan Peoples Party, spearheaded an election rally in Hyderabad, urging supporters to support her party on February 8 for the potential election of her brother, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as Prime Minister.

She emphasised Bilawal's commitment to prioritise the welfare of the underprivileged, drawing parallels with their mother, Benazir Bhutto, who championed initiatives like women's police stations and the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

Aseefa underscored the PPP's dedication to empowering the marginalised, contrasting it with other parties' pursuit of power. Promising to uphold the party's economic agenda, she highlighted initiatives like the BISP and proposed future endeavours such as providing financial and welfare support through peasant, labour, and youth cards.

The rally passed through various parts of Hyderabad, culminating at Giddu Chowk on Autobahn Road, with local PPP leaders and election candidates in attendance.
