Please kick my child: Asma Abbas recounts wildest fan requests, encounters

Veteran actor divulged how fans approach her candidly in public

In a recent appearance on a talk show with host Mohsin Abbas Haider, the charismatic and beloved Pakistani actor, singer and producer Asma Abbas had the audience in fits of laughter as she recounted a side-splitting fan encounter that occurred during a chance meeting at a mall.

According to Asma, she was out running errands when a dedicated fan spotted her and could not resist approaching her with an unconventional request. “I went to the mall to shop and this sweet and cute woman entered. She found me and exclaimed, ‘Here, here, here! We got her,’ and I said yes,” the Fraud actor relayed her confusion at the fan reaction. 

Asma recalled how the fan assumed a frank demeanour with her before inquiring about a particular outfit and necklace donned by the celeb once. “She asked, ‘Haye Asma! Where did you get that necklace and outfit from? I want them,” the actor shared how the insistent woman grabbed her and started swinging their arms together.

“I said I’ll tell you, you can find it at my brand but she said, I want your dress,” the Laapata actor continued, adding how she had to share the casual tone and reply with, “Yaar I have already worn those clothes.”

Asma went on to share how when departing, the enthusiastic fan left with a lasting comical remark. “She said, ‘Asma, swear upon my life that you won’t block me.” While everyone tried to contain their laughter, the veteran actor divulged another funny anecdote involving yet another peculiar request.

“One day a fan came up to me with this request: ‘This is my child, he is a big fan of you. You kicked a child in that drama, please kick him like that,’” Asma revealed, expressing how the fan encounter left her completely baffled and amused.
