Services of scouts sought on election day

KARACHI:

Scouts in Sindh will support the Election Commission of Pakistan and district administration for the conduct of General Elections 2024.

In a letter written to the Secretary, Divisional Scouts Organiser of Sindh Boy Scouts Association, and District Scouts Secretariat, the Sindh government has asked for the services of scouts, citing it as a national duty. Scouts are required to assist in polling stations and CCTV monitoring.

The services of 14 to 25-year-old scouts have been sought for the general elections.

The provincial government has directed the chief of scouts to contact the concerned district deputy commissioner, district scouts president, and SSP and submit the list of scouts.
