LAHORE:

A haunted house and snake house have been built for the recreation of citizens in Jallo Wildlife Park. While the Wildlife Department is working on the Lahore Zoo and Wildlife Safari Park Upgrade Project, it simultaneously decided to introduce new facilities at Jallo Park. In collaboration with the private sector, ghost bungalows and a snake house have been built in Wildlife Park Jallo; this is the first haunted house built in any Punjab Wildlife Park.

The Wildlife Department has awarded an eight-year contract to the company that built the snake house and ghost
bungalow. Local political and social figures including, Akhtar Lava, also known as Lahore Da Pawa on TikTok, participated in the opening ceremony of the Ghost Bungalow and Snake House.

A large number of citizens and children visited the ghost bungalow. Visitors experienced joy, excitement and fear as they made their way through the attraction. Meanwhile, dozens of native and foreign species of snakes, including the Indian Rock Python, are housed in the snake house.

Akhtar Lawa said that people are concerned by various problems including inflation, unemployment and political uncertainty. He believes that recreational facilities like this are entertaining citizens and relieving their stress. He added that he went into the ghost bungalow, which features both living and mechanical characters to scare visitors.

Rana Naeem, who built the ghost bungalow and the snake house, says it has 10 mechanical characters that are activated by motion sensors. Such characters cannot be seen in any other ghost bungalow in Punjab. Naeem said special arrangements have been made for the safety of visitors.

Other facilities including a zip line will also be introduced in the coming days. On the other hand, no trace of the four deer stolen from Jallo Park has been found yet.
