Varsity student killed by stray bullet

During vehicle snatching they fired gunshots in air, bullet hit 21 years old Hasnain Sammo

HYDERABAD:

An engineering student standing on a window of his residence was fatally struck by a bullet, allegedly fired by motorbike snatchers, and died.

The incident happened in the early hours of Monday in the Aamil Colony area near Heerabad in Hyderabad.The Market police claimed that two suspects snatched a Honda CG-125 motorbike from an individual, identified as Asadullah. During the vehicle snatching they fired gunshots in the air and a bullet hit 21 years old Hasnain Sammo, a software engineering students of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro.

Sammo was rushed to Liaquat University Hospital where he was declared dead. Samo’s father Zubair Sammo is a Sub Inspector in the police department. He was in Shikarpur district at the time of the incident. The young man’s body was shifted to his hometown for burial after the postmortem.
