Marwat leads rally in city Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat led a rally of PTI workers from Bilawal House to Nishane Pakistan
in Karachi. Marwat said in his address to workers and citizens of Karachi that people of Karachi are politically mature and literate and therefore they have participated in the rally from their own will.

“People in this rally for the PTI and its founder are brave, I thank the brave citizens of this city there is no place for cowards in PTI,” he boomed from atop a car. He said that he will inform PTI founder about the cowardly candidates sitting in their homes. On this occasion, Khurram Sher Zaman

Marwat said that face of justice was distorted in the courts yesterday. Courts took away election symbols, PTI candidates were arrested, symbols were allotted to PTI which are not its identity, “our nomination papers were taken away.” PTI was not given a level playing field. The right to vote for the party of their choice was taken away from Pakistanis.

He said citizens of Karachi love PTI despite threats and abuses. Marwat said that the valour of PTI workers to reach the rally despite barricades was
commendable. “We are not afraid of shelling or bullets. We promise to answer every tactic on February 8.” He criticised PPP for ruining the metropolitan city in the past 15 years.

Imran Khan’s vision for Karachi is free from prejudice, nationality and ethnicity. They thought that if they put Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, no one will mention his name. Imran Khan is not a political leader, now he has become an ideology. Marwat further said that people believe that Imran was fighting for them in Adiala. He appealed to the people to participate fully in the meeting to be held in Hyderabad on January 15
