Siblings allegedly tortured to death

A case has been registered into this heart wrenching incident

JARANWALA:

Four suspects allegedly beat two brothers to death with bats and bricks, while injuring their father in an attack on Sunday.

Mohammad Irfan, a resident of Nisar Akbar Road, informed police about an incident involving his brother, Adnan Kaleem and the accused Naeem. On Sunday, Adnan went to sell chicken near Shaheed Park, when he was stopped by Abdullah, Naveed, Naeem, Nadeem and others. They told him to call his father to the spot.

The complainant’s other brother, Usman and father, Muhammad Buta reached the area. The accused allegedly attacked them and injured Adnan, Usman and the father by hitting them with cricket bats and bricks.

All three victims were shifted to hospital with injuries, while Usman succumbed. Police took the body of the two deceased into custody and handed it over to their family after a post-mortem and registered a case.

In a separate incident, a man allegedly shot and injured his wife, 38-year-old Abida, over a domestic dispute. The victim succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital after receiving on-site medical aid.
