A suspected robber was tortured to death while his accomplice was injured after they were caught while looting a youth in Zaman Town, Korangi.
According to SHO Rao Rafiq, the two armed suspects, riding a motorcycle, were attempting to escape after robbing a young boy named Muhammad when locals nearby caught them and subjected them to physical assault.
Consequently, one of the suspects died on the spot, while his accomplice sustained serious injuries. The SHO mentioned that nothing was confirming the identity of the deceased and the injured robber has been recovered.

Weapons, stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle were recovered from them, he added. Meanwhile, another alleged robber faced a similar fate when he was caught by locals while robbing a citizen in Orangi Town.
Police reached the spot after being informed and shifted the suspect to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Mominabad SHO Asad Ahmed, stated that no weapons or stolen goods were found in his possession, and further investigations into the incident were underway.
