Pakistanis could get rid of all their problems by following ideas of Quaid-i-Azam, says senator

LAHORE:

A large number of male and female students, teachers, intellectuals, scholars and other people from different walks of life attended an event organized by the Idara-e-Nazria Pakistan (INP) on birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Addressing the ceremony, Senator Waleed Iqbal, the grandson of Allama Iqbal, said Pakistanis could get rid of all their problems by following the thoughts and ideas of the Quaid-i-Azam. He recalled that Allama Iqbal had said about the Quaid could he be bought.

He said the Quaid-i-Azam had founded Pakistan with the support of the people.

"We should speed up the efforts to make the country the Pakistan of the Quaid-i-Azam,” he added.

Pakistan Movement activist Col (retd) Muhammad Saleem Malik said the Quaid-i-Azam had brought the great blessing of freedom to millions of Muslims.

The Quaid-i-Azam was a great asset of the Millat-e-Islamia and a principled person who believed in continuous struggle, he added.

Khaleda Jameel said the Quaid-i-Azam had always followed the Islamic principles and dedicated his life for the Muslims of the region.

Dr Parveen Khan said the Quaid-i-Azam was an honest person and the only leader who had sacrificed his wealth for Pakistan.

Maulana Shafi Josh said the Quaid had declared Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan.
