A woman, Zehra Shahzad, 32, allegedly ended her life over financial problems by hanging with a ceiling fan inside her house in Orangi Town.
The police shifted her body to the hospital for post-mortem. The family told police that Zehra committed suicide over financial woes.
“There is no electricity in the house for 10 days as we were unable to pay the bill,” they said. The body was handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities. In a separate incident, the body of a man was found hanging from a tree in Malir.
