Pakistani film luminary Irtiza Rubab, popularly known as Meera Jee, encountered a staggering loss as her residence in Lahore became the scene of a high-profile diamond theft, amounting to millions in valuables. The incident unfolded in the late hours of Thursday, local channels reported, marking a distressing episode for the renowned Lollywood star.

Reportedly, Meera Jee, who was absent from her residence at the time, strongly suspects her driver, identified as Qasim, of being involved in the theft that transpired in her absence. The celebrity swiftly took action, registering a First Information Report (FIR) at the Defence (A) Police Station in Lahore on the same night of the incident.

Further intensifying suspicions, inquiries made with other household staff revealed the conspicuous absence of Qasim, the driver, whose mobile phone was found switched off during the crucial timeframe.

Authorities swiftly initiated an investigation into the alarming burglary and promptly conducted raids to apprehend the prime suspect, Qasim, named in the FIR lodged by Meera Jee.
