Significance of Arabic language highlighted

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mahmood emphasised the profound significance of the Arabic language, stating that its roots in ancient civilisation provide insights into both worldly and spiritual affairs.
Speaking at the international conference titled 'Role of Arabic Language in Strengthening the Relationship between Arab and Pakistani Societies,' organised by the PU Department of Arabic at Al-Raazi Hall, he underscored the importance of Arabic for Muslims.
Dr Khalid Mahmood lauded the role of the Arabic department in promoting the language in Pakistan, expressing appreciation for the initiative to celebrate 'Arabic Language Day' at Punjab University.
He commended the university's contributions to Arabic language education, having produced a substantial number of PhDs in the field.
