Balochistan unrest: Armed men kidnap two young girls

QUETTA: Two young girls were kidnapped by a group of armed men near Ghandaka Town in Jaffarabad on Sunday, police officials said. Ten-year-old Sabira Ghulam Qadir and 12-year-old Khalida Abdul Haq, were traveling in a bus from Ghandaka to Usta Mohammad when a group of armed men intercepted the bus near Seetal Bridge and dragged both girls out of the vehicle. The kidnappers were four in number and they took the girls away in a pickup, witnesses said. “It could be a case of personal enmity. The parents have not yet lodged a FIR,” a police official in Ghandaka said. The girls used to go to Usta Mohammad to purchase daily necessities. They were chased and kidnapped by unidentified armed men, sources added.
