A teenager boy suffered a bullet injury in the neck when a stray bullet fired by a TikToker in Akbari Gate area hit him on Tuesday. Police have arrested the prime suspect Wasif.
Police said the suspect was habitual of making videos for TikTok while resorting to aerial firing. Videos of aerial firing were also recovered from his phone.
On the day of the incident, a stray bullet hit Zunair, 14 in a street in the neighbourhood.

SP City Qazi Ali Raza said they observed zero-tolerance against display of firearms and aerial firing.
This is not the first incident involving injury or death of firing while shooting videos for TikTok.
In August 2022, an 18-year-old boy was injured after he mistakenly fired a bullet to make a video for a social media platform.
He had borrowed the gun from a security guard of a private housing society.
