Victim involved in kidnapping of his sisters

RAWALPINDI:

A young man who had arrived for a court appearance in a case was shot and killed within the limits of Rawalpindi’s Gujar Khan police station. The police apprehended the accused.

During the preliminary investigation, the accused told the police that he suspected that the victim was involved in the kidnapping of his sisters.

According to the police, a young man named Afrasiyab was returning after appearing in a local court when armed accused Shehzad Nawaz along with his three unidentified accomplices shot and killed him.

A police spokesperson said Shehzad was apprehended as he tried to run away from the spot while the other three managed to escape.
