Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Population Welfare Dr Jamal Nasir has asserted the implementation of stringent measures against all the underperforming officers within the health department.
During the course of an investigation, the Deputy District Health Officer of Gujar Khan has been dismissed from his post following his neglectful conduct during his service, he added.
He said this while presiding over a meeting at Rawalpindi District Health Authority. DHA CEO Dr Ejaz Ahmed, DHO Dr Ehsan Ghani, MS of all government hospitals and other concerned officials also participated in the meeting.

Dr Nasir also affirmed the endeavour to transform Rawalpindi into a model city for public health facilities, citing the ongoing rapid reconstruction and renovation initiatives at Holy Family Hospital.
He highlighted the formulation of a comprehensive framework to address deficiencies in rural health centres, ensuring the provision of requisite budgets, machinery, and furniture.
