Reflecting on his tenure, Babar recalled his induction as Pakistan's captain in 2019, stating, "Over the past four years, I’ve experienced many highs and lows on and off the field, but I wholeheartedly and passionately aimed to maintain Pakistan’s pride and respect in the cricket world."
Babar’s decision received resounding endorsement from fans, underscoring his profound impact on Pakistan's cricket landscape.
