Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said on Wednesday that western media is defending the atrocities being committed by Israel in its brutal invasion of the besieged Palestinian enclave of Gaza.
While speaking to Margalla Dialogue in Islamabad, Kakar said that the carnage against innocent civilians in Gaza by Israel cannot be justified.
The interim premier, while reiterating that Pakistan will continue to play its role in international peace, said that the country is facing challenges on its western border. In his address, Kakar questioned the prolongation of the Kashmir issue and said that a solution would have to be found eventually. Kakar further added that UN resolutions on the Kashmir issue already exist.
