A man who had been allegedly robbing people by pretending to be a police employee was arrested by the police and sent him to the lockup.

After the video of the suspect in police uniform went viral on social media, the CPO took notice of the matter and ordered action against him.

In the case registered with the police by Shabbir Ahmed, a resident of Muradabad area of Ghulam Muhammadabad Police Station, said that Kashif alias Kashi, who pretended to be a police employee and wore police uniform, also allegedly blackmailed people.

After the video of the suspect in police uniform went viral on social media, ASI Rana Anjum-ul-Hassan conducted a raid and arrested the suspect.
