Islamic system only solution to all ills: Siraj
Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has said that the only solution to the problems in the country is the Islamic system, calling the caretaker Balochistan chief minister, interim prime minister and the governor “blind, deaf, and dumb” for doing nothing over the killing of five labourers by terrorists in Turbat.
Siraj on Sunday visited the house of the innocent labourers who were martyred in the Turbat tragedy in the Shujaabad area of Multan district. He offered his condolences to the heirs of the killed labourers.
The JI chief strongly condemned the killing of five labourers in the terrorist incident, demanding an investigation into the tragedy.
“The poor labourers leave their city for lawful rights instead of dacoity and robbery,” Siraj said. “The chief minister, prime minister, governor did not come here because they were weak people. They cannot give justice just because they are weak. These rulers are blind, deaf and dumb, as this kind of cruelty does not happen in any country.”
He said that in the country, it was easy to burn down the house of the weak, kidnap his daughter and oppress him. “This is a system of oppression. We do not accept it. Yes, there is only one solution to our problems and that is the Islamic system.”
Highlighting that currently the chief justice of the country, the Senate chairman and the prime minister himself were from Balochistan, Siraj called for peace in the entire country, including Balochistan. “Just like you people have got protocol in Islamabad, the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in Balochistan should also find peace.”
