Predicts return of 'the golden era' with Nawaz's homecoming

PML-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that "no one else" is more sympathetic to the people than his party under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.

He made these comments during a meeting with former members of the national and provincial assembly, including former MNA Sheikh Wasim, former MPAs Saad Wasim and Chaudhry Ilyas.

The meeting mainly focused on discussing the current political situation in the country and the anticipated return of the party supremo to Pakistan on October 21.

Shehbaz praised the dedication and enthusiasm of the party leaders and workers in their preparations to warmly welcome Nawaz.

During the meeting, Shehbaz expressed confidence that "the golden era of Nawaz Sharif" would soon return, predicting that inflation rates would decrease and the journey of rapid growth would resume.

"By the grace of Allah, Nawaz has fulfilled every promise made to the nation," he stated, adding that PML-N was always truthful with the people and served them with integrity.

The former members of the national and provincial assembly also shared details of the arrangements being made in their respective areas for the upcoming event on October 21.

It is pertinent to know that the former three-time prime minister will return to Pakistan on October 21 and address a public gathering at 6pm at Minar-e-Pakistan on the same day, the party revealed last week.

In order to boost the morale of the party workers and supporters, especially in Lahore, the PML-N has been on holding whirlwind tours ahead of Nawaz’s homecoming.
