Pakistani mountaineer Shehroze Kashif has set another record by becoming youngest person to scale 13 peaks over 8,000 metres.
Shehroz accomplished this milestone by scaling the Cho Oyu peak in China yesterday.
Cho Oyu, standing at 8,188 meters, is the sixth highest peak in the world. He is the youngest Pakistani to conquer Cho Oyu.
The young mountaineer is now one peak away from setting a world record.
He aims to become the youngest Pakistani to conquer all 14 peaks over 8,000 meters.
The last item remaining on the young mountaineer’s checklist is to scale Tibet’s 8,027 meter high Shishapangma, which he has planned to summit in the middle of this month.
