Huge quantity of smuggled goods found

Customs Intelligence, police, and Rangers conducted a joint operation at Baldia Town Bus Terminal, uncovering a significant cache of illicit merchandise, including smuggled cloth, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, electronics, and household items.

The operation, led by Customs Intelligence Karachi, took place on the night between Wednesday and Thursday. Law enforcement teams sealed off all entry and exit points of the terminal to maintain control.

Acting on intelligence regarding substantial amounts of goods illegally imported from Iran being stored in shops and warehouses at the bus terminal, the raid was launched. Deputy Director of Customs Intelligence Karachi, Wasif Malik, confirmed the recovery of a substantial quantity of contraband. The confiscated items included smuggled foreign textiles, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, household goods, and electronic products.
