Development Funding: Rs50m for Swabi UCs announced

CM said the government accords high priority to development, education and health sectors

SWABI: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti announced Rs50 million for development work in PK-34 Swabi-4 and assured that all available resources would be utilised for the socio-economic uplift of the poor. He expressed these views while addressing party workers led by ANP Swabi District President Rehmanullah at Mardan. The Chief Minister said that record development projects have been initiated in Swabi District by his government to ameliorate the lot of people and marginalised communities. He said the government accords high priority to development, education and health sectors and Rs50 million have been approved for PK-34 Swabi-4, besides Rs5 million grants for each of ten union councils in the constituency. He said that practical work on the Rs7 billion mega project has already been started that after completion would bring positive changes in people life. The Chief Minister said Baacha Khan considered Swabi a second home and emphasised on workers to maintain unity in their ranks and utilise their energy for the wellbeing of the people.
