An exquisite collection of art, under the theme 'Glimpses Beyond The Window,' graced the walls of Artcade Gallery in the federal capital.
This captivating group exhibition featured the outstanding works of Faiza Taufique, Hifza Khan, Irum Ismail, Madiha Idrees, Mariam Fayyaz, Sameeha Khalid, and Zoobia Arif.
Faiza Taufique, a gifted visual artist hailing from Lahore, wields lines and watercolors on paper to infuse her work with texture. Her creations come alive with a vibrant energy, striking a harmonious balance.
Another luminary from Lahore, Hifza Khan, explores the world of oil-based art, focusing predominantly on human figures. Inspired by the grandeur of Mughal architecture and the intricate world of paintings and miniatures, her attention to detail is unmistakable.
Irum Ishmail, whose artistic focus lies in oils on canvas, breathes life into her paintings through the addition of 3D woodwork. Her art draws from the nostalgic well of childhood memories spent gazing out of her window onto picturesque landscapes.
Zoobia Arif, a young artist of 25, ventures boldly into diverse artistic mediums such as watercolors, oil paints, and ink on paper. Her pieces are a testament to her mastery of techniques like chiaroscuro, realism, and abstract elements. Her latest fascination with 'Ink on Paper' has yielded refreshing explorations, as evidenced by her showcase of seven stunning pieces at Artcade Gallery on September 14.
Sameeha Khalid, an Islamabad-based visual artist, delves into a profound journey through her paintings, transcending pain into joy. Her minimalist yet rhythmic compositions trace the soul's path through various phases, ultimately uniting with oneness. During the exhibition, Sameeha unveiled five mesmerizing ink and acrylics on canvas art pieces, each a testament to her transformative artistry.
The exhibition will continue till 7 October.
