KARACHI:

Dr Syed Junaid Ali Shah, the interim Sindh minister for culture, sports, labour, and human resources, has ordered the concerned departments to submit details of their automobiles. However, if any unauthorised and unaffiliated person is found driving an official vehicle, legal action will be taken.

Shah has sought information about all official vehicles from the secretaries of culture, sports, labour and human resources. The official vehicles of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Labour and Human Resources should also, according to Shah’s directives, be returned to their owners in any event if they are in the custody of an unrelated person. Legal action will be taken if any unrelated individual uses an official vehicle, as directed by the provincial minister.

Umar Soomro, the caretaker law minister for Sindh, has also asked for a list of all the official cars that personnel from three departments have utilised. He has written to the secretaries of the Department of Law, Human Rights, and Religious Affairs requesting information on the cars.
