The roof of the sole government middle school in the Burg Village Council of Tarbela that had caved in due to heavy downpours has not been reconstructed yet, leaving students without proper educational facilities.

Local residents have expressed concerns about the lack of a functioning school, emphasising the threat it poses to students' education. The affected school is the only educational institute for girls and boys in the area, and its absence jeopardises the future of the students.

The collapsed structure has forced students into makeshift open-air classrooms, exposing them to unpredictable weather conditions and safety concerns.

Locals said frustration is growing due to the delay in taking action, and the community is urging the government to promptly intervene and initiate the necessary repairs and reconstruction for the school. There are fears that prolonged inaction may further disrupt the education of the area's children.
