Trello is quite a popular tool when it comes to project management.
It helps the user streamline project management, boost collaboration, and maintain better control over tasks and projects. It lets the user organize their work, whether they are a solo professional, a small team, or part of a larger organization.
If you are new to this tool, here are some reasons why you should not be missing out on it;
1. Card covers for easier navigation
Card covers in Trello are images or visuals that you can add to individual cards to make them visually distinctive and easily recognizable. Instead of just having a plain text title on a card, you can choose or upload an image that represents the card's content or purpose. These covers help you quickly identify and organize your cards, making your Trello boards more visually appealing and user-friendly
2. Turn email into Trello cards
The next time you get an email that you think would work better as a Trello card, just forward it to your Trello board. Trello will automatically change it into a new card.
Each Trello board has a special email address. To find it, go to your board, click the menu on the right, then pick More > Email-to-Board Settings. You can copy the email address, create a new one, and choose the list where you want the new cards to show up.
3. Copy and Paste from Spreadsheets
When you copy and paste a list of items from a spreadsheet into Trello, Trello recognizes that you might want to keep the information in one card or separate. So, after you paste the list and press enter, Trello asks you what you want to do next. This makes it easy to either create separate cards for each item or have all the items appear in one card, depending on your preference.
4. Shortcuts for quick access
Instead of navigating all the drop-down menus and options, shortcuts really help in saving time and energy. Trello has quite a few of them that you can access here.
