ISLAMABAD:

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has said separate Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for the students of flood-hit areas will be convened after consultation with the provincial governments.

According to a circular issued by the acting PM&DC registrar on Friday, caretaker Federal Minister for Health Dr Nadeem Jan has taken sympathetic view of the plight of the students facing difficulties.

It said that the same PM&DC-approved syllabus would apply which was already available on its website.

The council clarified that for the already registered candidates, MDCAT was going to be convened nationwide on Sept 10 (Sunday).
