Over 2,000 cops to be deployed for Asia Cup

Lahore Traffic Police has formulated a meticulous traffic plan

In preparation for the upcoming three ODI matches of the Asia Cup 2023, the Lahore Traffic Police has formulated a meticulous traffic plan.

The Afghanistan cricket team has arrived at Lahore Airport, and they were escorted to their hotel by CTO Lahore Captain (retd) Mustansar Feroze.

The Asia Cup's first match is scheduled for September 3, followed by the second match on September 5, and the final match on September 6 at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

CTO Lahore informed that SP Sadar Malik Ikramullah, SP City Shahzad Khan, and SP Headquarters Sohail Fazil are leading the efforts.

As many as 10 DSPs, 110 traffic inspectors, and over 2,000 traffic personnel will be deployed under their supervision for traffic management at hotels, airports, Gaddafi Stadium, and designated parking areas.

Additionally, 20 forklifts and three breakdown recovery vehicles will be on standby to address any instances of wrong parking.
