The citizens, dissatisfied with the performance of police, have started locating their snatched or stolen vehicles on self-help basis.
In this regard, a victim was able to find his motorcycle in the Hub area using a tracker. The two-wheeler was snatched at gunpoint from him in the Malir area. The bike was being disassembled at an isolated compound when the victim and police conducted a raid.
As per the details, the affected person started searching his motorcycle after it was snatched on Monday. With the help of a tracker company the affected individual started searching for his bike. The victims and the police were able to find that the motorbike kept in compound near Hub Chowki. The victims along with the police reached the spot and found that two persons busy taking out parts of the bike. The police arrested them and also found another suspicious vehicle parked in the compound.
It has been reported that the compound where the affected citizen's motorcycle was found is a fuel depot of a foreign company.
SHO Malir City Abdul Sattar revealed that the owner of the motorcycle was the same person whose battery shop was burgled a few months back and the traders in the shop opened fire at the bandits, killing one of them while three managed to flee.
