In pictures: Meet AP Dhillon's rumoured girlfriend, Banita Sandhu

Singer and actor sparked dating gossip after starring together in a music video

AP Dhillon has gotten people talking with the recent launch of his song, With You. While the song is yet another amazing addition to his discography, the catchy tune isn’t the main reason why people are obsessing over the recently released track. 

Rather, it’s the person who is featured alongside the popular crooner in the music video of the song. In the said video, the Indian-Canadian rapper and singer can be seen being all lovey-dovey with emerging Bollywood star, Banita Sandhu. 

The music video is entirely composed of short video snippets that are cut and joined together to create a two-minute-and-thirty-five-second music video. Many believe that the video clips are real-life takes from a vacation that Dhillon and Sandhu went on together because the overall feel of the music video is very raw and it appears totally unscripted. 

With the opening credits, it is revealed that the music video is a film that was directed and made by AP Dhillon himself, which further reinforces the theory that it is constructed from short videos that were taken when the two alleged lovebirds were vacationing together somehwere abroad.

It is unclear when the 30-year-old singer and the 26-year-old actor started dating, but many believe that the video for With You is the best confirmation of their rumoured romance. As of now, neither of them has confirmed or denied the gossip. However, Hindustan Times reported that the two were seen attending the premiere of Dhillon’s docuseries, titled, AP Dhillon: First of a Kind, together. Sandhu also took to her Instagram to share pictures with Dhillon in which they are dressed up for the event. In another recent post, Sandhu shared the cover art for the music video and a boomerang of the two sharing a kiss.

Sandhu made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Shoojit Sircar’s film October, in which she played the lead female role opposite B-town heartthrob Varun Dhawan. Since then, she has gone on to star in a handful of Indian films but is still a relatively new face in the industry. 

Both Dhillon and Sandhu belong to the Indian diaspora, with Sandhu being a British-born Indian and Dhillon having acquired Canadian citizenship after having lived in India throughout his boyhood.
