Killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces, says ISPR

The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence based operation on the night between Aug 18 and 19 in the general area of Bara, Khyber district, the military’s media wing stated on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “During the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists and resultantly, two terrorists were sent to hell.”

The ISPR stated, “The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as killing of innocent citizens.”

The military’s media wing stated that sanitisation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

“Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.”
