In a recent Twitter space with fans, Osman Khalid Butt praised Sehar Khan for her brilliant performance in the famous drama serial Fairytale. Osman’s comments led to a sweet, direct exchange between the two actors on the social media app. Sehar expressed her gratitude and Osman responded graciously, also lauding her co-star Hamza Sohail for his performance in the fan-favourite show.

In the drama, Sehar plays the role of Umeed Pasha—a confident young girl who describes herself as a ‘beauty with brains’. Osman commended Sehar for her amazing portrayal of a highly energetic character and said that seeing her bring such a character to life has been a very enjoyable experience for him as a viewer. He also went on to state that he’s a fan of her and her work.

“I just absolutely love Sehar…I think Sehar has done…that chaotic, chaos in a bottle kind of role that she’s played and how she’s played it is just so brilliant to watch. I’m a fan.”

A twitter user, presumably a fan of Sehar, took the space and cut out the portion of it in which Osman was complimenting Sehar’s acting skills. The user tweeted the shortened clip to her profile and Sehar came across the audio clip after a handful of fans tagged her in the comments. She quote-tweeted the tweet and wrote: “Thank you so much Osman! This means a lot coming from you”.

To this, Osman replied by writing “Not at all, you deserve it! Also, while talking about you, I always forget to praise Hamza. Please congratulate him on my behalf for beautifully essaying a 21st century Mr. Darcy!”

Sehar Khan and Hamza Sohail became the darlings of Pakistani television with their breakout roles in Fairytale. While the two had acted in dramas before, it was this particular project that caused viewers to really sit back and take note of their talent. The drama serial was showered with so much love and praise that it was reprised for a second season.
