Collision: 3 killed, 30 injured in crash

People were injured as a result of a head-on collision between two passenger coaches on the Indus Highway

ACCIDENT: Three people were killed and 30 were injured in an accident on Tuesday. According to police officials the people were injured as a result of a head-on collision between two passenger coaches on the Indus Highway near the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial boundary at the Tiriman check post. Two of the deceased have been identified as Atta Mohammad and Mohammad Naseer Khan, while the identity of the third body has still not been confirmed. The injured were rushed to the nearby Taunsa THQ Hospital, where most are said to be in stable condition. Police officials have registered the case and are awaiting an autopsy report.
