Congratulations are in order for Sami Khan and his wife, Shanzay Khan as the couple has been blessed with their second child earlier this week. The Pyar Deewangi Hai star announced this exciting news via his Instagram story on Sunday.
Taking to his social media handles, Khan posted a monochromatic picture of a baby’s feet with the joyous announcement as the caption. His story read “MashaAllah, Alhamdulilah, thrilled to announce the arrival of our little twinkling star,” he wrote.
The Tinkay Ka Sahara actor also added that his son was born on August 2 and the overjoyed parents have decided to name him Shahmir Khan. The story post ended with Khan requesting his followers and fans to remember his family in their prayers.
A myriad of the actor’s fans and notable names from the entertainment fraternity extended their congratulations for the couple and the newborn, along with their sincere wishes for the child through comments sections of the posts on entertainment pages.
Sami Khan married his wife Shanzay Khan in 2009, and the couple are now parents to two kids, an elder daughter Mahnoor Khan, 7, and a son. Sami Khan began his acting career with the film Salakhain (2004) and then transitioned onto TV shows. Some of his other notable works include Jinnah Ke Naam (2009) and Woh Mera Dil Tha (2018). He is also a recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
