Mash'Allah Shakeri told Pakistan's state TV that the project would create a peaceful atmosphere in the region. He said that Iran will provide 21 million cubic meter gas per day which will be enough to meet the energy needs of Pakistan.
A top Pakistan petroleum ministry official said that he is quite hopeful that the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project would complete its course.
He also said the gas pipeline project would be completed by 2014 and to achieve the targets the government has prepared strategies not only to execute the different stages of the project in time but also for fund raising.
