A tragic collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on GT Road near Sarai Gadai Mashwani Pump resulted in the loss of two lives, said the police.
The deceased were identified as Faizan, a 25-year-old resident of Usmanabad and Wasim, a 40-year-old resident of Jhari while 23-year-old Waqas from Sarai Saleh and 40-year-old Rashid from Abbottabad suffered injuries.
Medical teams from Haripur Rescue 1122 provided first aid and shifted the injured to Haripur Trauma Centre.
In a separate tragic incident, the body of the janitor, Sajid Ali, was discovered at Government Boys High School Ghazi.
As per sources, Sajid Ali, a watchman at Ghazi school, was found dead on the school premises.
He had locked the door of the staff room and despite knocking on the door and receiving no response, another staff member had to break the glass to gain access, only to find Sajid dead.
