Brave search launches video and image search

New feature will prevent users from being profiled through picture hunts

Brave is introducing video and image searches to ensure privacy and security.

Previously, Brave's search engine required users to jump to Bing or Google to find photos or videos. This increased the chances of being profiled through picture hunts that could be accessible from another search engine's index.

With the new feature launch, users will be able to search with privacy being ensured.

However, users still have the option of continuing searches through other search engines for some time. As of now, some features, such as filtering by aspect ratio or license, are not ready to be rolled out. This might affect the efficiency of the search results. However, Brave will soon introduce more of these updates.
